A Mail from a frustrated victim of chain mails

Thought of forwarding this mail to each and everyone I know, but the decided against it and grabbed a chance of awakening my good-old blog! ;)

*A Mail from a frustrated victim of chain mails*:

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain
letters to me in 2003 & 2004.

Because of your kindness:

* I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for
removing toilet stains.

* I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle
infected with AIDS.

* I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they
cause cancer.

* I don't leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and
sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will drug
me with a perfume sample and try to rob me.

* I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to
dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill from hell with calls to
Uganda, Singapore and Tokyo.

* I also stopped drinking anything out of a can for fear that I will
get sick from the rat feces and urine.

* When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot
she is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me then take my
kidneys and leave me taking nap in a bathtub full of ice.

* I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl
that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times. (Funny that girl,
she's been 7 since 1993...)

* I went bankrupt from bounced checks that I made expecting the
$15,000 that Microsoft and AOL were supposed to send me when I participated
in their special e-mail program would arrive soon.

* My free Nokia phone never arrived and neither did the free passes
for a paid vacation to Disneyland.

* Still open to help some from Bulgaria who wants to use my account to
transfer his uncle property of some hundred millions $.

* Made some Hundred wishes before forwarding t hose Ganesh
Vandana,Tirupathi Balaji pics etc.. now most of those 'Wishes' are already
married (to someone else)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you do not send this e-mail to at least 1246 people in the next 10
seconds, a bird will ... on your head today at 6:30pm.

Orkut and My Relationship Status

There has been much confusion over the last few days about my relationship status in www.orkut.com . Basically what happened is I changed my relationship status to "Single" to "Committed" due to some good things that happened to me this year. That's where this story starts! One fine morning, as I start up my computer and get ready for another day's fight with variables and functions, I get bewildering scraps and mails from friends, all asking when did I got married and demanding why they weren't informed! Little did they know that I myself wasn't informed that I have become"Single, Married"!!!
Yes, you read it right. Orkut has decided me to be a trend setter and allotted to me more than one-values from a drop-down list!! In their opinion, my relationship status is "Single, Married"!
So here's my message to all my bewildered friends, ITS A BUG! And a humorous one at that, no doubts!! Hey Google-ians, if any of you are reading this, please look into the code and rescue me ;)

So, bottomline is I am not "Single, Married" afterall!

Underarm bowling becomes underhand deals : now in Team Selection

Sign the petition We oppose the exclusion of Ganguly from the Indian cricket team .

Well, i got nothing more to say. Words are useless, everyone knows some people have gone trash and started using Indian cricket like their tissue papers. Shame on them, but frankly, I don't even feel like screwing them with choicest words ...... hell thay ain't worth it.

Still, if you want to read something well-written on this in the Indian blogosphere, go to Deepak-da's blog - here

Just sign the petition. But nothing will happen anyway.

Don't forget, this is India.

World Cup groups

The World cup grouping are here, and once again, good teams get the death groups! Argentina and Holland in the same group...both my top favourites. Czech Republic and Italy also have been placed in the same group, while Brazil, Germany are placed in cakewalk-ish groups(not underestimating the teams in their groups though!). Among my favourites, Spain has managed a rather easy group.

Hoping both Argentina and Holland qualifies for the second round(and more).

Tribute to my Hero

From the age of 6, I have been following his batting and been inspired by his sheer genius. He is not just a cricketing hero, but a champion who has inspired a generation - a deserving cult-figure. Hats Off, Boss!

SACHIN TENDULKAR ROCKS!

Another good guy killed for corruption

After Satyandra Dubey, another one - Manjunath. Killed as a reward for being honest.
Mera Bharat Mahaan!

In the long run, we are all dead, I know. But, for heaven's sake, he was just 27. Murdered. Brutally. In cold blood. For something so abstract, so derided, so demeaned as "Values"...

Good bye to the Prince of Football

"George Best will get a standing ovation from the Old Trafford crowd for one last time on Saturday when Manchester United take on Portsmouth, hours after the former United great is laid to rest in his native Belfast. United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric, a personal friend of Best's, will both arrive at the early evening match after flying back from the funeral in Northern Ireland, where up to half a million people are expected to turn out in honour of the province's greatest ever player."

-- Good bye, the Vincent Van Gogh of Football! Rest in peace! Your glory will remain forever.

Longest URL and longest list!!

http://thelongestlistofthelongeststuffatthelongestdomainnameatlonglast.com

Interesting stuff!!! Check it out Junta!

Quentin Tarantino is a genius

Anyone who could write and direct stuff like has to be a genius. Will watch out all his movies. Simply unforgettable.

There's a passage I got memorized.
Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the
righteous man is beset on all sides
by the inequities of the selfish
and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who, in the name of
charity and good will, shepherds
the weak throu gh the valley of the
darkness. For he is truly his
brother's keeper and the finder of
lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee
with great vengeance and furious
anger those who attempt to poison
and destroy my brothers. And you
will know I am the Lord when I lay
my vengeance upon you." I been
sayin' that shit for years. And if
you ever heard it, it meant your
ass. I never really questioned
what it meant. I thought it was
just a cold-blooded thing to say to
a motherfucker 'fore you popped a
cap in his ass. But I saw some
shit this mornin' made me think
twice. Now I'm thinkin', it could
mean you're the evil man. And I'm
the righteous man. And Mr. .45
here, he's the shepherd protecting
my righteous ass in the valley of
darkness. Or is could by you're
the righteous man and I'm the
shepherd and it's the world that's
evil and selfish. I'd like that.
But that shit ain't the truth. The
truth is you're the weak. And I'm
the tyranny of evil men. But I'm
tryin'. I'm tryin' real hard to be
a shepherd.

Great Stuff, awesome!

Our "professional" cricket coach!

Hi! Here's a video link of our "professional" cricket coach. Just click on it!

Sadly, he didn't have the nerves to do it to the opponent! Instead, he choosed the local cricket fans! Three cheers for the "brave old" man, ain't this is for what we pay him a kings ransom?
Read it in his own words

We did have a man who could show it to our opponents, in their own grounds, after winning. Alas, that was a different day, that was a different time.

Tremendous Business People!

It is said that keeping ur eyes open can be good for business. How? Read this to know! Hats off to this guys wisdom!

"Kiyoshi Nishikawa established the Tokyo company in 1971 as a signmaker and parking lot equipment supplier. He noticed that he was selling an awful lot of No Parking signs, as more cars flowed onto Japan's crowded roads. So 14 years ago he switched gears, taking up the business of managing parking lots. "

Kingdom of Heaven

Saw the movie. Since I always fall for crafted dialogues, here are a few good ones:
"Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright that God may love thee. Speak the truth even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless. That is your oath. "

" A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convinient at the time. This will not suffice. Remember that."
