Among the sea of flags flying high in a burst of patriotic fervor in Burkina Faso, Mali and lately Niger, countries that have recently undergone military coups, the red, white and blue flag of the Russian Federation has become commonplace. While it carries political overtones, it has emerged as a trendy accessory, much like a Che Guevara illustration a generation ago in the West. Continued here Japan startup develops 'Gundam'-like robot with $3 mln price tag - Reuters    YOKOHAMA, Japan, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Tokyo-based start-up Tsubame Industries has developed a 4.5-metre-tall (14.8-feet), four-wheeled robot that looks like "Mobile Suit Gundam" from the wildly popular Japanese animation series, and it can be yours for $3 million. Called ARCHAX after the avian dinosaur archaeopteryx, the robot has cockpit monitors that receive images from cameras hooked up to the exterior so that the pilot can manoeuvre the arms and hands with joysticks from inside its torso. The 3.5-ton robot, which will be unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show later this month, has two modes: the upright 'robot mode' and a 'vehicle mode' in which it can travel up to 10 km (6 miles) per hour. Here's What You Need to Know and How Sellers Are Responding - Inc.com    On Tuesday, the Federal Trade Commission sued Amazon for illegally maintaining a monopoly. Joined by attorneys general from 17 states, the commission laid out a case alleging practices that hurt customers and the third-party sellers that offer their products on Amazon's online marketplace. For sellers, working with Amazon can create a dilemma: According to research firm PYMNTS, Amazon accounts for nearly half of all ecommerce spending in the U.S. -- and many of its tools and services make it easy for sellers to fulfill orders, find new customers, and grow their brands. But as Amazon has gotten larger, sellers report increasing fees, aggressive competition from other vendors, and unresponsive customer service. Entrepreneurs, including many Inc. 5000 honorees, have become wealthy by buying in-demand items wholesale and reselling them at a slight markup - or by creating services to help others optimize their sales. But the business is fickle. Packable, the parent company of Pharmapacks, a 2016 Inc. 5000 honoree, filed for bankruptcy last year, despite being one of the top resellers on Amazon at the time of the filing. Benitago, another Amazon seller, filed for bankruptcy in August.
