Just when you thought Silicon Valley was rehashing old ideas (churning out the next sharing economy concept or chat app), one hears of stories like this one, where Eric Ries (of The Lean Startup fame) is trying to create a "long-term" stock exchange that rewards companies for longer term performance rather than the quarter to quarter frenzy we often see currently in stock markets.
