One can see the impact of Silicon Valley thinking on Vishal Sikka's efforts to reinvigorate Infosys. Design thinking and Zero Distance are noteworthy in emulating the Hipster-Hacker-Hustler mindset in Silicon Valley startups. Zero Distance is an Infosys initiative to get engineers closer to the customer and in utilizing their abilities to solve customer problems. Founders of some of the most successful Silicon Valley companies are hackers or engineers. While true hipsters (designers) are few and far between in India, encouraging his employees to employ design thinking is definitely a starting point. The hustlers (sales people) were already there at Infosys, now they need to work closer with the hackers and hipsters to sell innovative solutions to their customers - Comment
